Sunwing's Princess program cruising along
January marks the six month anniversary of Sunwing entering the cruise business – and things are cruising along very nicely, according to Daryl McWilliams, vice-president of sales and marketing.
“We obviously made the right decision to partner with Princess,” he says, “They have just the right product, and clients love the air-inclusive pricing.” Sunwing is featuring two itineraries on board the Caribbean Princess: the Classic Southern Caribbean and the Southern Caribbean Explorer. McWilliams also credits Sunwing Airlines as being a winning component of the program, which includes flights to San Juan each Sunday from Toronto and Montreal. “Clearly the word is out that our airline is a great way to kick off your holiday – there’s nothing like a bon voyage glass of champagne, on the house, to remind you that you’re on your way to a well-deserved vacation.”
McWilliams comments that Sunwing’s inclusive pricing (gratuities to both cabin stewards and dining room staff are included in the price) is another key to the success. “Clients love the convenience and perceived value.”
As part of its ongoing promotions with Princess, Sunwing is currently offering a “Buy One, Get Second Cruise for Half Price” sale on selected departures. The incentive is in effect until January 23.
