Sunwing Airlines announces summer 2009 domestic schedule

The snow may still be flying, but at Sunwing Airlines summer’s already here: the carrier has just launched its summer flying schedule across Canada with early bird pricing featuring fares as low as $79 each way if booked by Mar 31.

From Toronto, Sunwing will fly on Mondays and Thursdays to Vancouver, Charlottetown, Sydney N.S. and Stephenville, Nfld.; to Halifax and Gander on Tuesdays and Fridays; weekly on a Wednesday to Deer Lake, Nfld and daily Monday through Friday to St. John’s. The Canada flights will start on June 15 and will operate until September 11.

All flights are on the carrier’s state-of-the-art Boeing 737s and include a generous hot snack, non-alcoholic beverages and in-flight entertainment with yours-to-keep headsets, all at no extra charge. On flights between Toronto and Vancouver passengers receive a choice of hot meals served with red or white wine.

New this year on the domestic routes will be Sunwing’s Elite Plus service, which offers travellers the benefits of advance seat selection, extra-legroom seats, priority check-in, advance boarding service and a 30 kg baggage allowance – all for just $35 each way.
