Sunwing sings praises of "new" Cancun and Riviera Maya
Sunwing’s group vice-president Lawrence Elliott has just returned from Mexico and is reporting that the resorts in Cancun and the Riviera Maya are looking better than ever.
“I had the chance to tour hotels featured by Sunwing and was completely impressed with them – the hoteliers have clearly taken advantage of lower occupancies last month to ensure everything is in tip-top shape,” he reports, adding , "I wish I could get away from work myself as I’d be off to Cancun or the Riviera Maya in a heartbeat.”
Plus, the resorts are sale priced all summer long, so there’s a terrific combination of quality plus value. Sunwing’s prices start as low as $595 (plus tax) per person double, all inclusive at the Viva Wyndham Maya for a week from Toronto, and $745 from Vancouver – and two kids 2 through 17 stay and eat free! In all, the package holiday company offers a choice of 63 hotels in the region.
Sunwing Vacations is featuring summer season flights from Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa and Quebec City (on Aeromexico – with upgrade to business class available) and from Toronto and Montreal on Sunwing Airlines. This summer, the carrier is offering its Elite Plus service, so all passengers, in addition to receiving a bon voyage glass of champagne, a choice of hot meals and inflight entertainment in Elite class, can also opt for the Elite Plus class with advance seat selection, extra legroom seats, premium check-in and pre-boarding; and 30 kg baggage allowance, all for $40 per flight.
